Scholarships

The Central Wisconsin State Fair - Junior Fair scholarship in the amount of $500 is offered to 2025 high school graduates who are planning to attend an institution of higher learning in the fall of 2025.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must have participated in the Central Wisconsin Junior Fair as an exhibitor for a minimum of two years with one of those years being 2024. Applicants must be a 2025 high school graduate.

DEADLINE: Applications are due no later than March 15 of the award year.

The chosen recipient will be announced at the Central Wisconsin State Fair Junior Fair awards program on Thursday of the fair.

The Central Wisconsin State Fair (CWSF) is pleased to offer a $1,000 scholarship to individuals planning to enroll in or currently attending a post-secondary institution. This scholarship can be used to cover expenses at either a technical college or a university. The CWSF Board of Directors will select the recipient.

Scholarship Guidelines:

1. Applicants must be high school seniors.

2. Applicants must provide documentation verifying their enrollment in a post-secondary institution.

3. Applicants must have participated with the CWSF.

4. Applicants must submit this scholarship application along with 2 letters of recommendation (one from a community person and one from your 4-H Club, FFA, or other youth organization leader).

5. The application form must be typed, and all questions answered.

6. The winner will be announced at the Central Wisconsin State Fair Junior Fair awards program on Thursday of the fair.
